Who is responsible for your data

TransitionBinder is published by MLJ, SASU, a company registered in Paris under SIREN 934 769 837, with its contact address at jimenezjulien42@gmail.com. MLJ, SASU is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Jimenez Julien is the publication director and the person who answers privacy requests. This policy covers the public marketing site at transitionbinder.com. Data held inside a customer account in the TransitionBinder application is governed by the customer agreement and the terms of service, where the customer is the controller of her own client files and MLJ, SASU acts as processor.

What the request form collects

The only form on this site is the request form in the contact section of the home page. When you submit it, the following fields are transmitted to us: name (your full name), email (your work email address), company (your practice name), role (your job title, chosen from a list), request (whether you want a demo, early access or a quote), size (the number of open client files you carry, chosen from a range), message (your free text answer about where your client file breaks down), and consent (your confirmation that we may reply to you).

Three hidden fields travel with the submission for routing purposes: form-name, subject and recipient. A honeypot field named bot-field is present and left empty by human visitors; a value in that field indicates automated spam and the submission is discarded. Netlify additionally records the time of submission and the originating IP address as part of its anti abuse handling.

Please do not enter client names, case details, financial documents or any other information about a third party in the message field. The form is for describing your practice, not your files. If you send client details by mistake, write to us and we will delete the submission.

Why we process it, and on what legal basis

We use what you send for one purpose: to reply to your request, prepare a relevant demonstration, and answer follow up questions about pricing or migration. We do not build advertising profiles, we do not enrich your record with third party data, and we do not add you to a newsletter unless you ask for one in writing.

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the legal basis is your consent, given when you tick the consent box, together with our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry and in keeping a record of commercial correspondence. Providing the data is voluntary, but without an email address we cannot reply. You may withdraw consent at any time, which does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.

How long we keep it

Request form submissions are kept for 24 months from the date of the last exchange between us, then deleted from the Netlify Forms store and from our mailbox. If you become a customer, correspondence relating to your account is retained for the duration of the subscription and for the periods required by French commercial and accounting law after it ends. If you ask for deletion earlier, we delete the submission within 30 days unless a legal obligation requires us to retain a specific record.

Who processes the data with us

Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States, through the Netlify Forms feature, which also hosts this site. Replies are sent and stored in our email provider's system. Both act as processors under contract and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertising networks, data brokers or resellers.

Cookies and measurement

This site sets no advertising cookies, no third party analytics cookies and no cross site tracking identifiers. There is no Google Analytics tag, no advertising pixel and no session replay tool. The pages load two web fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com and your IP address is visible to that service for the duration of the request. Nothing on this site requires a cookie banner because nothing here stores a cookie on your device.

International transfers

MLJ, SASU is established in France and its hosting and form processing take place with a provider established in the United States. Where personal data is transferred from the European Economic Area to the United States, the transfer relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses concluded with the provider, together with the supplementary technical measures described in the provider's documentation, including encryption in transit and at rest. You can ask us for information about these safeguards at any time.

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access your data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have your data erased, to restrict or object to processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, which in France is the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertes.

If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah or Virginia, you have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, the right to obtain a copy of it, the right to have it deleted, the right to correct inaccuracies, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. We do not sell or share personal information and we do not run targeted advertising, so the opt out right applies to nothing in practice, but it is available to you and we will confirm that in writing. We do not use personal information for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. California residents may designate an authorized agent to make a request on their behalf, and we may ask that agent for proof of authority.

To exercise any right, write to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com with the email address you used on the form. We answer within 30 days and will tell you if we need longer for a complex request. We may ask a question to confirm identity, but we will not require an account or an identity document.

Children's privacy

TransitionBinder is a business tool sold to professional practices. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 through this site. If you believe a minor has submitted the form, write to us and we will delete the record promptly. Coaches and mediators whose client files reference minors are reminded that those files live inside the application under the customer agreement, not on this marketing site.

Security

Traffic to this site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are encrypted in transit and stored by our processor with encryption at rest. Access to submissions is limited to Jimenez Julien and the small team handling enquiries, protected by multi factor authentication. No system is perfect, and if a breach affecting your data occurs we will notify you and the competent authority within the time limits set by law.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the site, our processors or the law change. The date at the top of this page always shows the version in force. Material changes affecting existing enquiries will be announced by email to the address you supplied.
